  • Yes, we are pleased to offer private writing classes! If you’re interested in having one of our teachers work with your child and a small group of their classmates, we’d love to help. • For in-person groups, we recommend five or six (seven is a maximum). Smaller groups are fine too (e.g. we do plenty of two-person “semi-private” lessons). For Zoom groups, two to four students is ideal.

  • In an initial conversation, we learn everything we can about your child: their journey with writing, why you’re seeking support, their personality and learning style, etc. We will also ask you to share several recent pieces of their writing. Based on this, we will send you bio and rate information for one or more teachers that we think will be good matches. From there, you may schedule either a complimentary meet-and-greet or dive right in for an initial session. And of course, If at any point you feel like it isn’t the right fit, we are here to help you pivot.
